Microsoft Teams Phone adds the functions of a landline telephone to Microsoft Teams: You can call people inside or outside the company using their phone number, regardless of whether they have a Microsoft 365 account. This allows you to use standard Microsoft Teams audio call features such as transferring, holding, merging and transcribing calls even if you were called from a mobile or landline number. With Microsoft Teams Phone, you can also put calls on hold and add a delegate to make and receive calls on your behalf when you are out of the office.
